For my Principles of Integrated Engineering (PIE) course, I was tasked to work with a team to create a project that incorporates electrical, mechanical, and software components. Defuse the Situation is a collaborative, interactive, and engaging bomb-defusal game based on the video game Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. The goal for this game was to implement a fully integrated, physical rendition of the video game.
I developed the electrical system and firmware for the 'bomb'. I'm especially proud of the modularity. I designed custom cable harnessing, power distribution, and a communication standard that allows puzzle modules to be hot-swappable.
The full project documentation is available here. More info about my work is in the electrical and software sections.
